XISS & XAAH organise Alumni Meet in Hyderabad
Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi in association with XISS Alumni Association Hyderabad Chapter (XAAH) organised an Alumni Meet at the Novotel Hyderabad Convention Center.
A book, The Untold Journey of Leaders, written by XISS alumni who are prominent CEOs, CHROs, PhDs, IPS Officers, Public Servants, Entrepreneurs, and Corporate Trailblazers was unveiled by Dr G. Chinna Reddy, Vice-Chairman, Planning Board, Government of Telangana along with other guests.
Dr Reddy in his address praised XISS for its contributions to leadership and urged the Chief Minister of Hyderabad to establish a second XISS campus in the city, further congratulating the authors for their remarkable achievements. He also felicitated 31 authors of the book, including Ms Lipika Verma, Mr Chinmay Sengupta, Dr Rajorshi Ganguli, Mr Shan Prabhakaran, and Dr Anita Mathew.
Earlier, Dr Joseph Marianus Kujur SJ, Director XISS, opened the event, emphasizing the institution's role in creating leaders with strong values, and how the alumni community serves as brand ambassadors for XISS on a global scale.
Further, in the event, an esteemed group of XISS alumni discussed about branding, teamwork, and the organization's future expansion. Key discussions, led by Ms Meenakshi Menon, Founder of GenSxty Tribe, and Mr Isaac Rajkumar, MD of RealPage India, focused on how XISS can achieve international prominence. They highlighted the importance of alumni involvement, industry partnerships, global internships, and mentoring initiatives to strengthen XISS's global standing.
The panelists, including Mr Salil Lal, Executive Officer & CHRO, MSIL, Ms Ahuti Swain, Retired DP, ECL, and Mr Srimanth Basu, Dean, IR, MITS, explored how alumni networks and collaborations could position XISS as a global education hub, aligning its curriculum with industry needs and future trends.
The event, sponsored by Maruti and ECL, was a significant milestone for XISS, thanks to the efforts of the XISS Alumni Association Hyderabad Chapter (XAAH) and its president, Mr E. R. Venkat, who was also honoured during the event for his leadership.
