Annual Fest of XISS-PANACHE 2026 held

Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi, commenced its two-day Annual Fest, 'Panache 2026', on 12 & 13 February 2026 in the campus. The event, themed "Sakura Matsuri," celebrated renewal, beauty, fleeting moments, and fresh beginnings and was inspired by Japan’s cherry blossom season. The fest celebrated youth, creativity, culture, and the joy of living in the moment. This inter-college festival saw participation from XISS, Amity University, St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi, Marwari College, and other city colleges.

Dr Joseph Marianus Kujur, Director, XISS, in his address during the annual fest remarked the event to be a show of strength and leadership from the students. He said, Panache is a celebration of student community and is an extension of the teaching learning pedagogy of classroom. It is part of your holistic development, and therefore students aspire higher, dream big, believe in yourself, be ethical in whatever you do as these are some of the traits to make you successful in your lives. And remember, success is not only about achievement, but also about efforts and participation.

The two-day extravaganza kicked off with the Runathon, a marathon, followed by exciting events such as the Treasure Hunt, Face Painting, Rangoli, Open Mic, Rangmanch (Nukkad Natak), On Your Toes, Fashion Show and an electric DJ Night by DJ Sonic.

On day one of the event showcased captivating performances by students, with a wide range of fun-filled activities. Students eagerly took part in the events, enjoying themselves while also gaining valuable learning experiences.

On day 2, teams participated in the Battle of Bands, captivating the audience throughout the event. The concluding day featured the Walk the Ramp event which was judged by Mr Atul Gera, Ms Rachna Tiwari, and Ms Khyati Munjal who chose Ms Ishita Singh as Ms Panache 2026 and Mr Samir Kachhap as Mr Panache 2026.
